Zanzibar Town is the largest city of Zanzibar, an archipelago of beautiful islands floating atop the Indian Ocean. A creek cuts through it to divide it into two parts, Stone Town and Ng'ambo. Stone Town, the historical core of the city, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its wonderful architecture and beautiful culture. Wander through the streets and alleys of Stone Town taking in the sights, and sounds of the city. The Old Fort situated right on the seafront presents an imposing picture. The Forodhani Gardens, lying opposite the fort, turns into a bustling food market selling all kinds of delicious food at night.
