Wow, two days in Paris! 🙂 What? only 2 days (Just 48 hours) in Paris!! 🙁 “How to cover the famous attractions in just 48 hours! – You would go through these two contradicting feelings if you get a chance to visit Paris for 2 days. We’ve put together an Paris itinerary to make every minute count of the 48 hours spent in the city of love.
Morning:
After touching your feet on the land of Paris, hop-on the tour to visit the iconic Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, which boasts of Mona Lisa, Paris’ famous garden – Jardine des Tuileries, the Conciergerie Prison, the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral, Napoleon’s Tomb, Palais et Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris’ second largest public garden.
Tip: If you decide to go into the Louvre, you may not be able to see many of the other attractions as it does take a long time to go to this incredible museum of art.
Lunch: Take a break and eat in one of the surrounding restaurants or relax in the garden with a takeaway lunch.
Afternoon: Visit the Panthéon and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the Latin Quarter of Paris, walk around the Champs-Elysées and visit the Place de la Concorde and the Arc De Triomphe.
Evening – Make sure to relax on a cruise on the River Seine Night and watch the eminent Folies Bergères, Moulin Rouge, or Lido shows.
Spend your second day in Paris at the famous and fun Disneyland Paris and enjoy several fascinating shows and thrilling rides. You can meet your favourite cartoon characters and enjoy the joyful atmosphere with your friends or family. While in Disneyland Paris, you can also visit Bois de Boulogne, the green lung of Paris with the prominent Roland Garros Stadium adjacent to it.
Morning: Go to the side-walk cafe and enjoy fresh croissants and coffee.
Lunch: Start around 11.30 AM and reach Montmarte after a three and a half hour culinary walk. After visiting large hill in Paris, have a tasty and delightful food in the nearby cafes/hotels/ restaurants.
Evening: If you are a shopaholic and wondering where shopping fits in to your 48 hours in Paris, here’s a solution. Walk down the ever-glamorous Avenue Montaigne, the Champs Elysées, and the streets of Saint Germain for the great Parisian shopping experience.
Tip: For astonishing and great deals, you could also spend at the outlet mall at La Vallee Village, which is close to Disneyland Paris.
Night: Your 48 hours in Paris almost comes to an end and this will be your last night in Paris. You must see the Paris glory as you climb up to the Eiffel tower to take get a bird’s eye view of the City of Lights! Finish off your wonderful 48 hours in Paris like a true Parisian…sipping a glass of champagne!
Well, Paris is one of those beautiful places that a hundred years wouldn’t be enough time to discover properly, so don’t try to jam as much as you can into those 48 hours in Paris. Remember, just like with chocolate, wine, and jewelry–Paris is about quality and not just quantity.
