The Parque das Naçes in Lisbon is a redeveloped area on the Tagus River. Sometimes called the Park of Nations, this place was created to house the 1998 World Expo and is currently the location of several business structures. It also developed into one of the hippest areas of the city. It is strikingly contemporary in contrast to Lisbon's more traditional and historical exterior. It also draws locals and visitors with its wide range of daytime and evening activities. Explore Parque das Naçes - The Oceanário de Lisboa, also known as the Lisbon Oceanarium, is undoubtedly one of the top attractions, attracting visitors from all walks of life, including families, couples, and travelers. Visit Europe's giant indoor aquarium, where you can witness 100 kinds of fish in the main tanks, including sharks, eels, and a sunfish (who possibly steals the show). In addition, over 400 different living species—including penguins, otters, amphibians, plants, and more—are on display in the other exhibits. - The boardwalk along the river is a popular place for Lisboetas to stroll or jog, offering one of the city's most outstanding running courses. So grab your sneakers and walk outside for a day in the sun since the length is a little over four miles (6.4 kilometers) long. - Attend a concert at the MEO Arena, where many of the city's most significant events and concerts are held. It is located in Parque das Naçes. The annual Super Bock Super Rock music festival, which takes place in the summer, is one of the most well-known events conducted here. - Take a ride on the Cable car, also known as a gondola lift. From the Vasco da Gama Tower area to the Oceanarium, the cable car provides a bird's-eye view over Parque das Naçes. Approximately eight persons may fit in each automobile. - Visit the Pavilhão do Conhecimento, a Science Museum often known as the Pavilion of Knowledge. Kid-friendly exhibits attract families to this place.
