Garden of Dreams

As its name suggests, the Paradise of Dreams is a genuinely heavenly garden that is breathtaking in its splendor. It is a neo-classical garden that Kishore Narshingh constructed in 1920. It is also known as the 'Swapna Bageecha' and the 'park of six seasons.' The park is known for its impressive amphitheater and its urns, elegant pavilions, paved perimeter walkways, pergolas, and ponds, all of which attract visitors from the surrounding area.

Things to do at Garden of Dreams:

  • Take a break and relax:

Because it provides a charming atmosphere and seating arrangements with a natural girdle, this location in the heart of Kathmandu is a favorite destination for young people and tourists alike.

The garden is surrounded by seating areas where one may sit and enjoy the scenery while perusing a book or just taking in the overall splendor of the location.

This location also hosts several cultural events and programs, business gatherings, private receptions, and classical music concerts.

  • Go to the Kaiser Cafe for lunch:

You may indulge in delicious bites, and beverages served piping hot at the Kaiser Cafe. Consider having some relaxing time with a cup of coffee and some good reading material.

  • Pay a visit to the Kaiser Gallery:

It is a treasure trove of one-of-a-kind artifacts.

Look at the ancient inscriptions on the marble derived from the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam; the inscriptions on the original gate are extremely precise and elaborate.

In 2016, a little museum was added to the garden, and at present time, in addition to that, it serves as the location of a library and a cafe.

  • Wander about the site and have a look at the three magnificent pavilions:

The area features a variety of outdoor structures, including verandas, pavilions, an amphitheater, ponds, pergolas, urns, and gardens.

  • Catch a moment of repose within the Garden of Dreams

It is the perfect setting for making new friends, sharing intimate moments with loved ones, and simply relaxing and appreciating the time you have to yourself.

During the hotter months, it might be a refuge from the stuffiness of the house. You can take a break in the cool shade provided by the pavilions and the trees. The winter months are perfect to lounge in the sun and have intimate picnics.

  • Take some pictures or make some recordings:

The Garden of Dreams is the place to go if you need a quick environment for modeling photos because it contains everything you need. You will have access to an excellent site for photographs, which will be enhanced by the antique charm of the garden and pavilions.
