Kaputaş is a bay and a tiny paradise that can be found hidden below rocky rocks. It comprises the 150-meter-long Kaputaş Beach, with golden sand, fine grains, turquoise water, and a cliff one meter high. It is widely known that Kaputas Beach, with its well-known brilliantly turquoise water, is not only the most beautiful beaches along the Lycian Coast but also among the most beautiful beaches in the entirety of Turkey. Additionally, you will get the opportunity to explore the intriguing caves that are located in the region.

Things to do at Kaputas Beach:

  • Dream in colors borrowed from the sun, sand and sea: A long and steep staircase with 187 steps leads down from the coastal road down to the bay. It is encircled by golden cliffs that are pretty steep, and the teeny-tiny but picture-perfect stretch of sand shines brightly against the strikingly gorgeous and crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

  • Delve into the rare sight of a pristine place untouched by human civilization: This paradisiacal spot, known for its stunning aquamarine waters, is a favorite destination for travelers worldwide. The town of Kaş is responsible for maintaining the beach's lovely natural setting. Because it has not been developed, it is a stunning location for swimming and sunbathing. Pebbles of various sizes mark the beginning of the shift from sand to sea. In the spring water that flows through this area, the temperature of the water is lower than average.

  • Experience a sunbath that will cast a spell on you: The sun's rays are streaming in, bathing the area in an iridescent sapphire blue that is almost mystical in its appearance. Thanks to the sun's beams! Watch the sailors go about their ways: The bay is also a popular port of call for cruise ships, making it a trendy destination. As a result, a ride on the boat is another excellent way to experience the beautiful bay that is crystal clean.

  • Smell the sea and feel the sky: Blue Cave is one of the most well-known caves. The azure hue of the water inside the cave, formerly used by pirates, continues to fascinate guests. It is believed to be one of the most Instagrammable sites in Turkey due to the stunning scenery with the vivid blue water as the backdrop. The scenery resembles a postcard motif.

  • Experience freedom and adventure: amenities include changing rooms, toilets, showers, a kiosk providing a limited range of food and beverages, and a bed and umbrella rental service for a fee of five lire each.

  • Be enthusiastic about the botanical treasures to be found: The 'Five Wonders of Antalya Conservation Project' encompasses the land surrounding Kaputas Beach, which is why it is considered a protected area. In this part of Turkey, the Antalya region, an attempt is underway to save some rare plants that can only be found in this area. One of these is Kaputas Inula, a shrub with yellow flowers known by its scientific name. It is exclusively found here on Kaputas Beach, where it blooms in the rocky cliffs from June through August, and it is the only place it can be found.
