The ever enchanting Jordan has always been a top go-to destination for travelers across the globe. Whether it’s the astounding Dead sea, Petra ruins, starry skies in Wadi Rum, or the plethora of adventurous activities, Jordan has it all! Another gem that absolutely fits the bell in Jordan is the lush canyon paradise, Ma’in Hot Springs.

Ma’in Hot Springs

Also known as Hammamat Ma’in, they are a series of hot mineral springs and waterfalls, located near the Dead Sea, about an hour’s drive southwest of Amman. The region contains a total of 63 springs at different temperatures, the water of which is known as ‘fossil groundwater,’ and is rich in minerals.

What makes them special?

Get ready to get goosebumps every time you visit this place, seeing the sky-high mountains on either side with waterfalls elegantly falling over.

Exposure to lava fissures makes the water hottest, sometimes drifting between 140 and 180 degrees Fahrenheit. This heated water slides down and is collected in many different pools meant for public bathing. The mineral-rich water has been used as a natural remedy for all sorts of joint pain and skin conditions.

The six senses spa:

The luxurious Ma’in Hot Springs Resort and Spa is the main attraction of this region. Travelers, after their exhausting Jordan activities, visit this place to rejuvenate themselves and return home, recharged.

They have converted a cave and a swimming pool into a hot spa experience where you get the safety of a luxury property and a swimming pool and the therapeutic benefits of a hot spring.
