Al Bidda Park offers a tranquil haven away from the city and the ideal place to rejuvenate with loved ones. The long, rectangular park, also known as Al Rumailah Park, is located between Majlis Al Taawon Street and Corniche Street.

Things to do at Al Bidda Park:

  • Enjoy the outdoors and exercise: The park's most significant feature is that you may eat your picnic while admiring the serene blue waters. Some activities one can engage in in the park include strolling through the green areas and water features before relaxing beneath a palm tree. The park is made cheerier by picnic tables, a half-pipe skate park, and a children's playground.
  • Let the children lounge around in various play zones as adults flex their muscles: There are eight separate play areas with sandpits, climbing walls, swings, and zip lines available, even though the entire park is a sizable children's play area. Beautiful walking and cycling pathways wind their way through different parts of the park. These can be used for skateboarding, rollerblading, and even cycling.
  • Sports training and development: Every corner of the park has a gym, tennis court, volleyball court, or basketball court. The Qatar Bowling Centre is also nearby. You can play various sports in the park to stay active and healthy. You can reserve several facilities, including a football field made of artificial grass, tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, and more, via their website or app.
  • Pavilions and BBQ Pits: During the park's operating hours, gazebos and BBQ pits can be used with advance registration. Bookings for this can be made through their website or app.
  • Other activities: Al Bidda Park also features the Natural Rock with the Watch Tower, the Amphitheatre, and the Water Plaza, among other noteworthy features. One of these is the lovely bridge that spans portions of Arumailah park and Wadi Al Sail. This is a terrific location for some Instagram-worthy pictures as well.
  • Your pets can enjoy this green expanse, too: One feature that sets this park apart from others is that pets are welcome there. Even camel and horseback riding are available for enjoyment.
  • Explore the neighborhood: The Islamic Art Museum and Souq Waqif, a classic Qatari hamlet featuring a mosque, a traditional café house, majlis, and much more, are a couple of the places to see in the vicinity.
